Hump Day! Hump Day!
Well, it is in the US 
Anyway, it’s been a little bit. I’ve been rather slow this week. I don’t know what happened during the weekend but I didn’t get to post as I wanted (it’s up but dated). Anyways, what else? Internet was down on Monday. LE SUCK. I was so damn BORED! It was pretty sad…hahahaa
Stalking cookies….these were the sugar cookies mentioned in the previous post.
It’s been a different cooking week? It started off with cravings for PIZZA so we had that on Sunday (DiGiorno?). Trying to diversify a bit 
Monday’s dinner was oven-fried chicken w/mac&cheese & biscuits.
YOM! YOM! YOM!
Pretty good! Though I might have to find a sauce or something for the chicken. The breading was pretty tasty…but it was lacking something flavor-wise. Maybe salt? Maybe a hint of lime/lemon? Who knows, I’ll have to try something next time

Last night’s dinner has been UPGRADED with some leftover tonkatsu. Only a little bit just to see what they’d taste like together. YOM! Though…beef and pork were a bit contrasting, it was a pretty decent venture. We both enjoyed it and were STUFFED. Tomato then had to have dessert:
Sugar Cookies: Version TWO
We tried a different variation with this second batch. Since the first was quite…boring. And I didn’t feel like whipping up some frosting (oh lawd the amount of SUGAR we might’ve ingested!), we melted half a cup of chocochips and dipped these lil guys in it. Pretty good upgrade I must admit. The chocolate was semi-sweet so it wasn’t overpowering in anyway. Complimented the sugar cookies quite well! Also, I’ve been eying this. SO MANY baking/cooking things I want!! Mostly some fleur de sel at the moment…
Other than the cooking, not much else has been going on. Called around for some jobs, will go and apply and see what happens. I HATE waiting for a reply! It’s so agonizing not know what they’ll say. But I hope I find something SOON.
OH THE WEATHER!! I joke a LOT about Connecticut weather just because I’m used to warmer/more temperate climates and CT weather is just COLD. Anyways, today is a lovely 58°F outside! WTSHIT?! I cracked the bedroom window open for the cats and fresh air, though being a bit of a weakling, I couldn’t get the living room window to unstick (suction of the window seal). Anyways, Apple is a enjoying a nap in the cat-tree by the open bedroom window and Zilla is wanting some attention and affection….then she walked away like she didn’t. Weirdies 
It’s going to get colder starting tomorrow 
Next week is supposed to be in the mid 30s again. But we’re going to try and enjoy today while it lasts! Hope everyone is have a GORGEOUS day!

Dude, I haven't made much from scratch…but it's really not hard. Though the first times are usually…test-y. But it's great the second time around since you know what to adjust :D Boxed stuff is my not-so-secret technique…especially when I'm scrapped for time/ingredients/etc.

GOOD LAWD! Tomato's dad or bro failed to mention that! *He speaks with them regularly. I don't suppose it'll get anywhere near the high 70s here…though I should be glad for cool/warm weather for the most part. It's 60% ASSFREEZINGCOLD of the year here…or so I've come to conclude.
OH NO! Has he given them a nudge or a reminder that HE is still waiting on a reply? That's terrible since the second month is already coming and going…I do hope he hears back really soon with some excellent news!! And thanks! I have interviews coming up next and nextnext week! I hope I manage to get something (preferably/hesitantly) at the first place I'm interviewing… I hope things look up for you!! LUFFFF!

Sankyuu! I try to YOM-ify my life as much as I can. The photos will remind me of what the good recipes turn out like XD
GYAH! 50s?! I'd give up something valuable for such “warm” weather. 30-40s are pretty average here ;A; Though, I'd decline on the rain part. Stay warm and dry!
