Today is Thursday and what a magnificent day it is 
The weather outside is gorgeous (though a touch on the windy side), the weekend is almost here, I don’t have to work tonight or tomorrow, FANTASTIC. Though, I’d enjoy all this more if it wasn’t “that time of the month”

Things I Love Thursdays
Cooking is something I don’t think I can do without. I love baking mostly. “Desserting” is my thannnnng. Love, love, LOVE seeing how a few simple ingredients can turn into something splendid. I also enjoy feeding people in general. Love to see and hear reactions and criticism. Especially とまと 
It’s super かわいい when his face lights up in glee over chocolate sables 
Eating & Food will make me smile 99.999999% of the time it appears. There is a strange sensation in me that simply CANNOT be hidden when confronted by a delicious dish (or even something that smells or looks pleasant!). And thus being the food industry is highly dangerous since a whiff from the kitchen sends me into starvation and cravings.
Great customers are fantastic. Not just the tips but the people. I love serving those who have happy spirits and enjoy our food. It makes me proud to be serving such excellent dishes that people are raving about. Those who can’t leave their troubles off the table bother me…but they are far and few between 
Gifting is awesome. I find so much more fun in gathering/crafting gifts for others. Happiness is contagious 
Speaking of which, there’s a box and a few letters waiting to go out 
Other lovelies: Giving out fresh made cookies at work; finding out that I like Calpico (Lychee!); two more weeks until we get some days off!!; cleaning off my table/desk; finding the cats ridiculously affectionate right before I leave for work; stickers and things; sleeping in; no work tonight/tomorrow; having money in the bank; fighting off the credit cards!!!; smiling faces; friendly gestures; sunny days; oncoming summerrrrrrrr!

Oh CT, how very warm you’ve become so quickly? Skip right over Spring, yes? My my, never would’ve thought I’d be wearing shorts and tank tops so soon! Especially in CT! This weather is simple insane. I really don’t know what to make of it. Temps have been in the high 70s – mid/high 80s ALL WEEKEND?! And amongst the sweltering heat of yesterday, it rained late at night and totally cooled the city off. Super awesome timing.
So…
It’s been two weeks 
I’ve been finding it hard to blog between shifts, especially when I work doubles. I totally missed two TILTs, oy. Hopefully, I’ll get back on track this week? Though I say that, it’s hard to write when you have nothing but the mundane things of everyday working life to write about. But I think today I have a few things. Including photos! It’s been a while!
So I just threw together a ghetto ぎょざ & kimchi (w/rice) lunch for myself. It’s quite nice for this hot weather. I’ve been cooking so sporadically these days. It’s hard to come home during break (when I have doubles) and have to put something together for とまと & myself, eat, do whatever chores and whatnot and then go back to work. Tonight, I already cooked the dumplings for him…he just has to make rice & cook some veggies (microwave steamer!).

Weaksauce weekend 
Cleaned for the most part. The sun came out for about a total of 9 hours between three days 
And now, it’s thunderstorming out as I get ready to leave for work. I’m not someone who inherently hates the rain but I definitely prefer the sunlight. Not a fan of the moisture and cold. Luckily, it doesn’t look too windy out though

Above the cut was a little something I started last week when it was POURING all sorts of animals and whatnot. This week’s said to be WARM but still cloudy for the most part. How annoying. It doesn’t even FEEL like it’s going to be mid-50′s to 60′s just because of all the wind in the city! At least it helps when the sun is out 
I’d like to say enough about the weather but work is highly affected by the weather and thus will probably remain a constant feature here. When the weather’s nice, people like to come out and eat. When the weather’s nice, people don’t come out to eat?! WHUT? So yesterday was a fairly decent day. Sunny, somewhat warm. WHERE WERE ALL THE PEOPLE?! It was so ridiculously slow yesterday…and I think I’ve met my first jackass. $1.15 tip for a $13 meal? Shit, keep your fuckin change, sounds like you need it more than I do. But whatever. It was still a slow day. It was a double too. Though I think I’m getting used to being at work all the damn time. Like my legs don’t hurt/get sore as much as they used to.
Otherwise, I don’t really have much to say 
Last week we put the kitties in their harnesses & leashes and took them out into the hallway. Starting to get them used to going out 
SOOOOOOOOOO funnay! Apple would NOT stray away from the door while Zilla stalked around the perimeter of the hall…along the walls.
Oh! Easter was fun…kinda? I don’t know. It was a lot of eating so of course that’s always fun. Had it at Tomato’s uncle’s house. His aunt cooked us a bighuge Italian meal 
Excellent it was. We tried to stop by the supermarket down the street from their house and pick up some groceries…but they were closed early? Along with the Wal-Mart next to it GO US! Whatever. We had enough leftover/take home that we were set for lunches the next day. とまと did go grocery shopping last night though and we’re set for a little while.
Work today was still slow but better than yesterday. Not working tonight though, WOOT! Going out with the とまと to a car meet? 
Was thinking about getting drunk…but working a double tomorrow so maybe not HAHAHAHAH! Oh I am not so dangerous after all
Gonna go and try not to pass out on the couch or bed…later people! And DAMN, I missed last week’s TILT
