Hope everyone has a lovely Christmas today!
KPOW! Just because it’s been quiet.
SO, I just got back from CT. And let me tell you. I SHALL have things to talk about very much, very soon. Let’s make a list, shall we?
- Tomato starts work on Jan. 12
- We put down the deposit on a wicked sexy apartment, move-in date is around the 6th depending on weather and scheduling
- Tomato’s work offered me a PT job?! As a receptionist…hahaa seems I can’t get away from the phones 
- Got to see what downtown Hartford is like
- Visited Tomato’s lovely aunt & uncle 
- Had some insanely delicious fooooooooood (shrimp puttanesca & various pizzas & various Italian desserts)
- 18 Months on the 10th 
Had a packed few days. Missed the cats but now I can’t wait to get out. Technically, we can move in as soon as the first…but no one (office personnel) works that day…so the second. Alas, we have to schedule things like a truck and whatnot. Anyway, VERY EXCITED. FINALLY things are…getting done

Other than that…scrapping that “zakka” type layout. I feel it to be out of season-coordination. It’s almost the end of the year! Time for something new and awesome. What that’ll be, I don’t quite know yet but it won’t be as polite as zakka…..I’m not sure what I meant but OK…?
All You Can Eat Sushi
Ceci, Nyc and I met up last night after MONTHS of not hanging out. We’ve been busy. Things get in the way. But we managed to check out this cute little sushi place we didn’t even know EXISTED?! AND it’s literally RIGHT DOWN THE STREET from out homes! WTF?! How did we NOT know about this Cho Cho San Sushi Bar?!
So we were getting ready to drop insane amounts of money for TONS of sushi. Then we see this sign on the door “All You Can Eat Sushi (Rolls) SUNDAY”, LO AND BEHOLD! It was a glorious Sunday evening. So we had a go. After reading the rules of engagement, we sent out orders for 3 rolls apiece. It was gooooooood sushi for a decent price. I could only finish 4 rolls…the other two got 6 rolls…and nearly died trying to finish them. A little greedy? Maybe. Between the three of us, 18 WHOLE ROLLS (6 pieces per roll) WERE CONSUMED. YES.
So uh, that craving will be gone for a little while :D
That was probably the most exciting thing that’s happened recently for me. A little sad, eh? Thanksgiving went well. Stopped by my aunt’s new house in North East Philly for a little food and whatnot, trekked down the VA for dinner (part two). Stayed the night, did nothing Friday day, had another Thanksgiving feast that night & left for PA. Tomato stayed until Tuesday waiting for a stupid reply from the HR guy from the offer he accepted. It’s NEXT WEEK ALREADY and they still haven’t spoken. WTF GUY?
So I’m just…BIDING MY TIME until things are decided and whatnot. Hate waiting
