InLaws…Always Fun!
Well…just the mum-in-law…to-be…and her sister-in-law.
Her sis-in-law, B, is absolutely hilarious! And Mumma is such a wonderful woman. She’s quite adorable when the Tomato annoys her. I can tell she misses her boys (D = Tomato’s older brother. Only the two and neither live remotely close to her
Spent the weekend hanging out with her. She ALWAYS takes us grocery shopping and it makes me feel sooo guilty but I’m glad she’s so giving. I think yesterday, we also hit the pet supplies shop for litter and wetfood and managed to catch their once-a-month KITTEN ADOPTION DAY. OMG. Most were NOT full grown! There was a 3-some of kittens about…3-4 months? GYA!!!!!!!!!!!!! They made their crate look HUUUUUUUUGE. Anyways, it was a huge island of meows and purrs and shivering/shakes in the middle of the store. I got to hold a Sherman. Didn’t get a picture…I was abandoned somehow…?? I turned around and everyone was GONE! (Said they were dropping off the heavy things in the car…)
Had tons of greaaaaaaaaaaaasy food for just about all meals of the weekend. YUMYUM. And spent quite a few hours watching CSI (various flavors: Miami, Vegas, etc?), Medium, Ghost Whisperer, etc. Checked out Coach’s for the Steelers game (not to mention the Eagles won too! Woot! Didn’t find out whether Phillies did or not…)..
All in all, it was fun. Not to mention, Saturday we were stuck in the building since there was a huuge marathon that closed down much of the roads…like the one we live on. LOTS of people in Hartford. But not to stay of course. From our windows we were occoasionally spying on them and managed to spy a truck giving out BAGS. WHUT! We got TONSSSSSSSSS of those drawstring backpacks and they were filled with STUFF!! Like bandaids, coupons, brochures, etc. It was fun. We didn’t get to collect them all (missing a black bag) but the two kinds we got were decent. Who’s to turn down FREE STUFF especially when they say TAKE AS MANY AS YOU LIKE?! Yeah. Tomato looked a little embarassed
Kittycats were good. They hung out with us when we were home. Though all the bathroom occupancy caused Zilla to have an accident
on the couch. Not entirely her fault, she couldn’t hold it and Tomato was in the bathroom with the door shut. Either way, they’re not as shy as they used to be
That was about it. Most of it is out of order. Ah well. Back to the quiet solitude of unemployment now. AWESOME
Summer’s End
It’s here. I never thought I’d be working so much during the summer. Le sigh

Enjoying the last of the sunshine.
I was really hoping to blog more and this and that and whatnot, but alas, I am NEVER HOME these days. It’s rather annoying. Now that the school year is about to begin, schedules should be more solid without so-and-so’s going away for a week. To be honest, I really don’t mind my job. It’s the night shifts that get me. They’re long and sometimes unyielding but mostly because とまと is home while I am not. So far this summer, I have rarely seen him much at all! But with the new schedules, I’m working about 3 nights a week which isn’t too bad. Not the greatest but not bad.
Broke out the FishEye again. Got some snaps. Though quickly running out of subjects to shoot. Wish I had more time to go around and snap up some lovely photos! Kinda been wanting the Golden Half lately…but not really wanting to have to go through the trouble of developing them. Co-worker has the Action Cam and it’s sparked a renewal in my old-school photography sessions.
Finally TWENTYONE.
I’m done. I’ll just keep telling everyone I’m twenty one from here on out. Done aging
Anyways. Yeah. Today’s the day!

It’s been a rough couple of days for me, emotionally. Most likely, とまとうちゃん left for Florida and I’m feeling utterly alone. Some stress from the parents about work and all that shit as well. I really wish he could’ve left after today
Ah well. I’ve never had good birthdays. Most likely because I think about them that way too much. Either way, I can honestly say that last year was probably the best birthday I’ve had in way too long. Too bad this one couldn’t be like it
Anyways, besides all that emoshit. I really want to see Hamlet 2 for some reason. It seems like all sorts of CRACK. And Steve Coogan is hilarious.
And I FINALLY got Brain Age 2 yesterday. I love playing games that tell me I’m getting smarter hahahaha…or dumber
Oh jeez. Well, OFF TO WORK.
Unni! I got your letter yesterday!
